the t-shirt has been a fertile area for creative messaging opportunities whether it be corporate branding or anti-corporate protest. why say it when the t-shirt can do it for you? even malcolm mclaren and vivienne westwood cut their cloth making t-shirts and flogging them on the kings road, eventually getting nicked for a t-shirt featuring two cowboys naked from the waist down with their penis's touching.
nothing quite so incendiary these days where corporate big bucks vie for you to be their walking billboard whilst paying for the privilege. with this in mind we put out a shout to independent t-shirt designers and this is what came back.
all are made in small quantities with the attention of the designers themselves but cost less than the demographically marketed equivalents. so they won't make much of a dent in your paypal account.
