oh what fun we had!
many thanks to all who came and celebrated carnival with us in spite of sound system problems just when the party was in full flow. by the end of the evening we had gone thru 3 amplifiers and after an hour of fiddling behind the decks ably supported by radio tech's from the bbc, no less, we ended the evening with the party in full swing again.
much respect to yusuf who not only stored our kit overnight but gamely rushed back to oxford gardens to bring us a new amp. thanks to hennessy who supplied the cognac, thanks to the bar staff, security and owners of visible who bought everyone a round of drinks when the sound went down and dealt with the neighbours who complained about the noise (at carnival???), thanks to the dj's who made us dance, thanks to jockey slut who took our overspill by virtue that we had the same colour wristband passes and most of all thanks to everyone that made the party, a party!
